NUN SCORING THE CONJURING’s FRANCHISE

 

The Nun landed with a major explosion of its horror prequel earning $53.5M in its first weekend and ever expanding franchise building around the Conjuring movies. The movie directed by Corin Hardy was a big success out if the gate, making around $130M was Conjuring 2. Next was Peppermint starring Jennifer Garner revenge thriller opening at $13.2M. The Meg scored an additional $6M. Ye Mission Impossible-Fall out definitely fell down taking home $3.8M coming at 6th and crossed globally $700M. Operation Finale took its place on eighth taking only $3M. Lastly, Alpha Bit earned $2M and $1.5M earning BlackkKlansman coming at the 10th.

 

VENOM LEADING THE BOX OFFICE CHART

The Tom Hardy starring comic book has so far made up to $ 143 million in the US and has crossed $ 378 million worldwide in just a couple of weeks after release which means that the gossip in town is already started. A Star is Born continues to perform and by the end of the next week is reportedly said to cross $100 million. First Mann settled to be launched at third, taking in $16.5 million yet opening more in line with expectations was Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, kicking off its box office run with $16.2 million. Small foot fell to fifth, earning $9.3 million. At sixth, Night School took in $8 million, which was a big disappointment of the week's charts. Despite the clear appeal of shirtless Chris Hemsworth, Bad Times At The El Royale had a bad time at the box office, opening to just $7.2 million. Coming at the eighth was The House With a Clock in Its Walls stopping at $3.9million. The Hate U Give slipped to ninth with $1.7million and at last A Simple Favour earned $1.3million.

DEATH IS THE ONLY BEGINNING “THE POSSESSION OF HANNAH GRACE”

Starting a new job can be nerve wrecking for any one at the best if times, but it doubles up the fear when you add in a spine tingling idea of moving dead bodies around at a morgue. But for Megan Reed things get a little suspicious in the first trailer for The Possession Of Hannah Grace. Reed came out of rehab after some unspecified issues and is seen working in the grave yard shift in the morgue where she delivers a disfigured body that belongs to Hannah Grace, whose family was performing exorcism on her but she died in the middle. Locked alone inside the corridors on the basement floor she starts experiencing deadly and horrifying visions and starts to suspect that the body might be still possessed by something demonic but is it all in her mind or is it something super natural? The cast also includes Stana Katic, James A. Watson. The film will creep into UK cinemas on November 30.
